Rollercoaster.

Wow the past few weeks have taken me for a ride. I was just writing a friend about what’s been going on in life and thought I’d share it here too. Almost 2 weeks ago a friend of our family suddenly and tragically died. He was an awesome man with such a sweet wife and 3 great girls. He’s been a good friend to my dad for over 10 years and was my sisters basketball coach all through high school. The memorial service was Monday, and it was jam packed! Which was a testament to the influence he had in so many lives. It was amazing to see and hear so many stories of Tony’s influence; but it’s been gut wrenching thinking of his family left behind.

On Monday I also learned that my old neighbor, died in her sleep unexpectedly and tragically. Erin was so young, vibrant and sweet and had  been married to her love for only about a year. She was the daughter-in-law of our pastor and the daughter of a family in our church.

It’s been incredibly hard to make any sense of this. And now that I’m a wife and a mom I feel the pain for people on different levels than I did when I was single. My heart is broken for the families of both Tony and Erin.

But on the upside of this ride, God has been showing up in really cool ways in my life. I’ll share more of this later… but just know that it is so exciting when God provide in ways you couldn’t have imagined yourself and through avenues you didn’t even know to pray for. He truly does care about the big and little things… even when our emotions tell us otherwise.

And on the business front…I’ve been lost in a sea of designing, processing, more designing, learning HTML, and creating. Although things are going more slowly than I would like, I can see the light at the end of this “re-branding” tunnel. The website is still a little ways off, but we should be up and running with our new blog in no time! (Cross your fingers, say a prayer, and kiss your lucky rabbit for me!)

So, I’m still here… strapped into my seat, awaiting the next twist, turn, up or down (please not a down though! I’ve had enough of those for a while).
